Sorry about the gigantic title. It has recently come to my attention that a (region 2) DVD is to be released later this month collecting some of the works submitted for the 2004-2005 Akira Kurosawa Memorial Short Film Competition.

The contents are: ‘Epitome’ by Kazuaki Shimada, ‘Hanzubon no Ojisan’ by Kouta Nagaoka, ‘Making Life Work’ by Maximilian Jezo-Parovsky, ‘Nagi’ by Takatoshi Arai, ‘Cotton Candy’ by Carl Iku Wooley, ‘Dirty Work Blues’ by Satoko Ookita, ‘Susume!’ by Shuuichi Okita, ‘Hi no Tsugi ha Rekishi’ by Inan Orner, ‘Apart’ by Seyfi Teoman, and ‘The Kitchen’ by Ben Ferris.

It is not entirely clear where and how widely these DVDs will be sold.
