Ran

I’d like to get a copy of the out of print Criterion copy of Ran. I tried buying on ebay, but ended up with an obviously bootlegged copy (in retrospect, I should have been tipped off by the low, low price). Anyways, I was wondering where I could go to buy a copy (either used or new – if possible) while minimizing the chances of ending up with a bootleg.

Hi jplank! You didn’t tell us which country you are in. Amazon’s Marketplace sellers still sell both new and old copies, but they only ship to selected countries.

I also see some copies over at eBay.

I would say that at this point anything under $40 is most probably a deal too good to be true.
