There seems to be a new Kurosawa book in Italian, titled Dalla katana al revolver. Akira Kurosawa e Sergio Leone a confronto. My high school Italian from two decades ago would translate the title into something like “From the Katana to the Revolver: Comparing Akira Kurosawa and Sergio Leone”.
It was written by Riccardo Rosati, it’s 208 pages and came out in January from a publisher called Profondo Rosso. It appears to compare Yojimbo and A Fistful of Dollars.
And that’s pretty much the extent of what I know about this book, as I can’t find any descriptions of it online. It’s available from Amazon, among otherplaces, and if you end up picking it up, I’d love to hear what it says.
