How to sculpt a bas-relief portrait of Akira Kurosawa

I’m not quite sure what to say about this, but Kurosawa’s name and face sometimes appear in the most interesting places.

I’m not sure what to say either! But it is an impressive likeness.

There is a documentary called “The Face of Lincoln” in which a sculptor starts with a clay “egg” and in the course of 20 minutes not only sculpts Lincoln’s face but narrates his life. It won an Oscar in the 50’s.
