The estate of the German graphic artist Hans Hillmann has set up a website to catalogue his iconic film posters from the 1950s, 60s and 70s. This was back when posters still had local versions that could be completely different from how a film was marketed elsewhere.
Hillmann’s German poster for Rashomon is pretty amazing, as is his interpretation of Seven Samurai. He also did a poster for Throne of Blood. You can find them all if you search the archive with the keyword kurosawa.
There is a lot of other interesting stuff in the archive, including posters for Godard, Bergman, Leone, Huston and Mizoguchi’s Ugetsu, among many others. Also some pretty interesting book covers.
