Criterion sale at Amazon + Eclipse Naruse box set

Most of you probably get Criterion’s newsletter, but those of you who don’t may also want to know that Amazon is currently hosting a Criterion Collection Sale with discounts of up to 45%. It’s not quite as good as the Barnes & Noble sales that come up every now and then, but it’s not too bad. And it does include a few Kurosawa titles as well.

Another thing worth mentioning from the latest newsletter is that March 11 will see the release of an Eclipse series box set called Silent Naruse which contains no less than five films by Mikio Naruse for what I think is a ridiculously low price of $35 or so.
