4K Ran showing at Cannes

According to this Cannes web site a 4 K frame by frame restoration of Ran will screen at Cannes this year link here
I assume this is a new restoration from the one on the current Blu-rays?

I know nothing about this, but I assume that it is a new transfer, and having Masaharu Ueda in the colour grading process is really exciting news as well since there has been debate about what Kurosawa’s intended colours for the film were. Maybe this will be the definitive restoration.
