The Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre will stage a dance performance based on Ryūnosuke Akutagawa’s “Rashomon”, the story that gave Kurosawa’s film its name and the setting of the frame story. While the performance is in no way based on Kurosawa’s work, you may be interested in checking it out if you are in Tokyo in early August.
