Not sure why the link isn’t working, but you can just go to the University of Minnesota Press website and search for it.

A documentary film closely following Akira Kurosawa for a full year during the making of Ran, capturing 150 hours of footage, of which 70 hours have been digitized. It vividly depicts the relationship between Kurosawa and his actors, and serves as a truthful record of a director who made films believing that the 21st century would be an era of peace without war.

Apparently this collection of autobiographical writings, interviews, and miscellaneous pieces was published in Japan soon after Kurosawa passed away to fill in the parts of his life not covered in the autobiography. It’s being published in English for the first time this winter.
Maybe the most exciting Kurosawa book to come out since All the Emperor’s Men?
The stupidly expensive HC and reasonably priced PB are both currently listed for 2/3/26 release.
