Autobiographies/memoirs by actors/directors/crew?

I’m looking for more books to read on 1920-late 50s Japanese film, but I want to read primary sources, not analyses. Something along the lines of Something Like an Autobiography, Compound cinematics, or Teruyo Nogami’s memoir. Does anyone have recommendations?

I can’t really think of any other such books in English, at least not off the top of my head. There are probably more in Japanese, but alas, never translated.
