Trailers to Akira Kurosawa’s Movies

Trailers are an art form in itself. In Kurosawa’s case they also offer us a further insight into the mind of the director, as it was typically he who edited together the trailers that were used to promote his films (in Japan, that is). For your viewing pleasure, here is a collection of trailers that I have been able to find across the Internet’s many online video services.

Anyone know where I can find Kurosawa trailers that I can save to my hard drive?
(Or if it’s possible to save these trailers?)

And thanks to the uploader for putting this collection together.

Hi Paul!

These trailers are all from Youtube, and while it is officially not possible to download them, in practice there are several programs that can do it for you. In fact, if you use Firefox, you can simply install an addon like DownloadHelper, which does the trick.

These trailers are also available on the DVD releases, so if you buy those, you also get the trailers.
