Toshiro Mifune video

Someone has gone through a number of Toshiro Mifune’s samurai roles and mashed it all together with the song “Holding Out for a Hero” playing on the background as performed by Frou Frou from the Shrek 2 soundtrack. The result is this Youtube video.

While doing my regular checks of the Yahoo! Japan Auctions, I stumbled on this item that sells a promotional picture from Red Beard with Toshiro Mifune’s autograph on it. It looks pretty great, in fact. Were it poster size, I might in fact have bid on it.
