Madadayo

I have 2 releases of this film. A region 1 release from Wellspring and a region 4 release from Madman. Hard to see any difference in the picture quality. On the bottom screen capture, the Wellspring has slightly better contrast and detail.

The chapter titles and breaks as well as the sub-title translations appear to be the same on both, except that the Madman version spells the title with 2 “a”s wherever it appears (including the cover) – Maadadayo.

Thanks for the screenshots, Master Thief. Indeed, there seems to be practically no difference between these two. I wonder if the Wellspring release is the same as the Winstar/Fox Lorber edition?
