Gondola no uta (sheet music)

Hey, just in case someone else is interested, I found some basic sheet music for “Gondola no uta”, the song from Ikiru. You can download a pdf from the website.

I’m not sure why exactly it’s on a website of traditional Scottish music.

A player more skilled than me could probably play the song by the ear, but I needed the instructions. 🙂

And did you play it? With a bagpipe maybe?

Yes Amnesty, I’ve been playing it these past few days, although just with the piano. 🙂 I’m still trying to come up with good harmonies for the left hand, so my performance is not really comparable yet to the one that the night club pianist gives in the film. 😆
