NewsFirst ‘Tajomaru’ teaser trailer
NipponCinema.com has the first teaser trailer for Hiroyuki Nakano’s forthcoming film Tajomaru.
As reported earlier, the film follows the adventures of the titular rogue from Ryunosuke Akutagawa’s short story “In A Grove”, most famously portrayed by Toshiro Mifune in Kurosawa’s Rashomon. Instead of a remake or an adaptation, however, Nakano’s film is an original work exploring the character’s rise to infamy.
The film is set for release on 29 September 2009 in Japan.
