Listen to the World blog reports that the Japanese musician Yoshiki is lined up for the AK100 (Kurosawa’s 100th birthday) celebrations in 2010.

The article does not say much (perhaps the promised translation of the interview will), but the moderator’s reported comment that “it is unusual for [the] Japanese rockstar Yoshiki [to do] something for … Kurosawa outside [of] Japan” would at least appear to suggest that the AK100 committee is already planning the events that will be held outside of Japan.
