		<description>Yes, this is very sad. Though it is not unexpected from somebody who's lived for so long.

I tried to email Mickey curtis(Nagamatsu in Fires on the Plain) about his death but everytime my message comes back with an automatically deleted sign.</description>

		<description>Thats really sad, nearly all the greats are dead.
Fires on the Plain, is one of my favorite movies and The Burmese Harp was different then anything I have seen before. I'm still in the process of discovering more of his works since they are hard to get a hold of, the positive aspect is that a death tends to spawn great interest and produce some DVDs. 
60 years and 88 films-WOW!

I'm still sad over Ingmar Bergman's recent death, now this.</description>
