I’m glad you found them interesting. I think some of what Kurosawa says here is similar to what he has always been on about, but there’s probably more here than in the autography.

I’m currently going through the videos and compiling a short summary for my german readers. have you already seen this compilation of ads for suntory (some with Francis Fod Coppola) or this short video that beautifully sums up Kurosawas idea of filmmaking
