Akira Kurosawa’s ‘Seven Samurai’ currently the third most talked about classic movie
According to my new cinema related web service, Movie Say: the Film Buzz Index, Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai currently ranks as the third most discussed classic film on the Internet. (Movie Say ranks film according to the “buzz” they generate on the Internet.) Only preceded by Francis Ford Coppola’s Apocalypse Now and the musical Singin’ in the Rain, the current high ranking of Kurosawa’s masterpiece can probably at least partly be explained with the new Criterion DVD release of the film.
The other Kurosawa movies in the classic movies section currently are Rashomon at #41, Yojimbo at #75, Ikiru at #124, and Ran at #165.
If you happen to check MovieSay.com and find it interesting, don’t hesitate to tell your friends and blog readers about the service! I am, after all, curious to know whether anyone else in the world finds ranking films accoring to the discussion they generate as interesting as I do.

MovieSay is a rather neat site; Iam happy to find Seven Samurai being discussed
