		<description>Hehe. It is, by the way, worth getting the Arden Shakespeare version of Macbeth, as it explains much of the background of the play.

I actually wonder how aware Kurosawa was of Shakespearean studies and theory. He at least doesn't show much interest in them in his film adaptations.</description>

		<description>I just saw "Throne of Blood."  Now, I have to go back and read Macbeth :)  I especially liked Asaji's character.  She reminded me a lot of Lady Kaede in "Ran."  Talk about your scheming, amoral women!</description>
