While some of us are horrified by the recent rumours about a Seven Samurai remake, it is good to remember that it would not be the first time Kurosawa’s films are being remade. (Indeed, it is far from even being the first time for this particular film.)

Somewhat related to this, a Chicago Tribune article found here discusses sequels, starting by talking about them in general (nothing too new there), and then going on to write about the number of sequels made for Yojimbo. I thought it was wort a heads-up.
