John Fusco to pen the ‘Seven Samurai’ remake

Reports are flying in that John Fusco has been attached to write the script for the much-talked-about Seven Samurai remake.

The choice is not entirely odd considering that Fusco has penned a number of westerns, including Young Guns, Thunderheart and the recent Viggo Mortensen starred Hidalgo. Kurosawa, as we all know, meanwhile based many of his samurai films on the western genre.
